Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. The actress was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading part in a variety of television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also highly praised. Additional Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra was engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. In addition, she was an active member of The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
